Preparing for your visit…
New Patient Consultation
Each visit will begin with a consultation to discuss your health concerns and address the issues listed in your New Patient application before performing a diagnostic exam. This exam is done by measuring your pulse, looking at your tongue, and checking your heartbeat. After the exam we will design a customized Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment plan specific to your needs and health concerns.
Between treatment sessions, please make notes of any changes that may have occurred, such as the alleviation of pain or changes in the frequency as well as any other types of problems and concerns you’re experiencing.
Reminders:
• Wear comfortable clothes that can be rolled up easily to your elbows and knees
• Have a light meal before arriving for your session. It’s best not to receive treatment on an empty stomach
• Take it easy for the rest of the day after your treatment
• Make sure to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water, especially after acupuncture and cupping
